Kim Johnson

Kim Johnson says coming to work for KAWC is like coming home. After a year behind the scenes in Yuma television news, Kim is back in radio, and back with old friends at KAWC.

Kim has been doing Yuma news on radio since 1981, starting out with KAWC's Mark Reynolds and Greg Gardner in commercial radio, getting back together with them at KAWC.

Kim and his wife Joan moved to Yuma two months after getting married in 1981. Yuma has been good to the Johnson's as they are blessed with three great kids -- Kory, Nicole, and Jacqueline (but she likes to be called Jackie!).

Kim is the host of All Things Considered heard on KAWC each weekday afternoon from 3-6pm. You can also hear him Friday evenings at 6pm and Saturday afternoons at 4pm during the new Yuma Crossroads news show, which features local news, people, and issues.
