Rodney Glassman Campaign

Rodney Glassman was once an aide to Arizona Congressman, and noted Progressive, Raul Grijalva, and a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate. 

Now, as a Republican, the lawyer, Air Force reservist, and former Tucson city councilman, says he’s the only candidate, Republican or Democrat, with a plan to clean up the beleaguered Arizona Corporation Commission.

The Yuma Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidate forum Thursday. Thirteen candidates for the state Senate and House of Representatives attended the forum at the Yuma Civic Center.

It has been a year since Democrat Deedra Abboud, a Scottsdale attorney, announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate.  A Muslim, Abboud faced almost immediate backlash for her faith but she says things are better now.
