AWC Student Presents to the American Chemical Society
Added July 24th 03:20 PMArizona Western College has been a involved in solar power research since the school's Agriculture and Science Building was completed with a 1-kilowatt solar array on the roof several years ago. Even before AWC's began construction this summer on a 5-mega-watt solar power array, chemistry professor Scott Donnelly has been teaching about solar power in his classes. One of Donnelly's students, Joshua Tumao, came by the KAWC studios this spring to talk with Michelle Faust about a year-long study that he has been working on that he was invited to present at the national meeting of the American Chemical Society. AWC Women’s Basketball Coach Patrick Cunningham Voted Coach of the Year

The Lady Matador's 30-win and 2-loss season was one of the best in school history, and it won a "Coach of the Year" award from the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference. Acclaimed Author Rick Moody Visits Yuma
