Water safety is the goal for this Yuma group

"Anyone can drown. No one should."

That is the simple message for the Greater Yuma Water Safety Alliance, a partnership among agencies including the City of Yuma and the Yuma Fire Department.

KAWC spoke with Yuma Councilmember Carol Smith, who is also a nurse at Yuma Regional Medical Center, and David Padilla Jr., public information officer for the YFD.

Victor is originally from West Sacramento, California and has lived in Arizona for more than five years.
