Lisa Sturgis
Host/ReporterLisa Sturgis’ return to KAWC brings her journalistic career full circle. Uncle Bob Hardy gave Lisa her first exposures to reporting back in the 1980s. She went on to spend more than three decades in TV news before making the decision to come home to NPR.
Lisa spent several years as a segment and field producer for both CNN and Fox News, so she’s particularly grateful for the opportunity to step “in front” of the mic to cover the issues most affecting Yuma and La Paz Counties. If there’s a story, topic, or issue you want her to cover, just email her at Lisa.Sturgis@KAWC.org.
Listen for Lisa Monday through Friday between 3 and 6pm when she hosts All Things Considered. And hear her on our weekly political podcast, The Field from KAWC, Wednesday nights at 6:30 and Saturday mornings at 11:30.
