The City of San Luis is bringing its annual Fourth of July Freedom Celebration to local homes and backyards this year
Each year, San Luis’ celebration brings more than 20,000 people together. However, CDC guidelines recommend against large gatherings and therefore this year, the celebration will be different.
In an effort to decrease the spread of COVID-19, the event will be streamed on the City of San Luis' official Facebook page at 9 p.m.
The virtual event will offer a variety of entertainment including musical performances, a special rendition of the National Anthem by Evelyn Gonzalez and a live fireworks show.
