Parker town officials declared a local emergency Monday due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a released statement, officials said "the Town of Parker has put this order in place to insure the safety, security and health of our community and to receive state and federal assistance in the event it is needed.
The proclamation continues the closure of the Public Library and Public Works buildings, athletic fields and athletic courts.
The Parker Senior Center will remain closed, however, meals may be picked up to go.
Water payments may be made in person, however, town officials are asking residents to use the drop box if possible.
