Yuma-Three Yuma educators will host a panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, an event that is touted as the largest comics and pop culture event in the country.
The panel will discuss how nerd and geek culture has become mainstream and how it can help students succeed in the classroom.
The panel "Nerd and Geek Culture in High Schools: Graphic Novels, Gamification and Gamer's Guilds", is scheduled for Saturday, July 23rd from 3p.m. to 4p.m. at the Shiley Special Events, San Diego Central Library.
