First time voters were thrust into a polarized and even paralyzing decision this election. Arizona Western College, a Yuma County polling center and home of several hundred students, saw plenty of traffic from people who are new to the election process.

Arizona’s presidential election is expected to be highly competitive, with youth voting patterns differing significantly from older adults, increasing their potential to influence outcomes.
