PHOENIX -- Maricopa County supervisors won't say just yet what they intend to do about the latest subpoenas dealing with the audit despite a 1 p.m. Monday deadline. 

And Secretary of State Katie Hobbs said she's already preparing a "prebuttal'' of whatever is produced by the Senate's contractors, calling the process so flawed that anything that comes out of the yet-to-be-produced report will be meaningless.

PHOENIX -- Kanye West can't run for president, at least not in Arizona.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Scott McCoy rejected arguments Thursday by lawyers for the rapper that the rules governing who can and cannot run as an independent do not apply to him, at least in this case.

The general election ballots for Yuma's two congressional districts are set.

 

In Congressional District 4, incumbent Republican Congressman Paul Gosar withstood a primary challenge from Prescott Valley native Anne Marie Ward. Gosar defeated Ward with more than 62-percent of the vote. Gosar is seeking his six-term in congress.
