Take-Over Event to Support Local Art Club

The Kofa High School Art Club is inviting the community to come out and support them at their Take-Over event.

It'll be Thursday, Dec. 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lutes Casino Restaurant on 221 S. Main Street in Yuma.

All you have to do is say you are there to support the Art Club and when you pay your bill, the Art Club will get a percentage of the sale.

Kofa High School’s Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps proved once again why they are among the best in the area after notching multiple wins at two events over the past few weeks.

First, on Friday, Nov. 9, Kofa’s Raider Mixed Team and four-person rifle team headed to Rio Rico High School to compete in the Arizona Interscholastic Association’s Raider Challenge as well as a 1x60 Standing Rifle competition.
