PHOENIX -- Arizona Republicans are going to have to look for someone new -- and with name ID or access to cash -- to run against Mark Kelly for U.S. Senate in 2022.

"The governor has said specifically he is not running for the United States Senate,'' said C.J. Karamargin Sunday for Gov. Doug Ducey.

Arizona, long a Republican red state, has flipped blue as Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and U.S. Senate candidate Mark Kelly were declared the victors.

U.S. Sen. Martha McSally was in Yuma on Saturday in her first announced in-person campaign visit since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March.
