A new semester has begun at Arizona Western College.

AWC President Dr. Daniel Corr visited the KOFA Border Radio studios last week to speak with Siendo Primero host Jose Martinez about the new school year, Corr's own education journey and how AWC is serving first generation college students in Yuma and La Paz counties.

Victor is originally from West Sacramento, California and has lived in Arizona for more than five years. He began his print journalism career in 2004 following his graduation from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
