National Emergency Alert System test today focused on cell phones

On Wednesday October 4^th at 2:20pm ET, The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will issue a nationwide Emergency Alert Test.

The alert will be sent to all phones, television and radios that are turned on.

If the Oct 4 test is postponed, the backup date is Oct 11.
