A Yuma native will be honored this week with an award that recognizes his work on behalf of the nation's migrant farmworkers.

David Damian Figueroa will receive the Dolores Huerta Award, named after a renowned civil rights leader who co-founded the National Farm Workers Association with Cesar Chavez.

KAWC's Stephanie Sanchez speaks with Figueroa, a producer of films and music, about the recognition.
