The Yuma County Area Transit (YCAT) will require all passengers to wear face coverings on all busses and at all facilities starting Thursday, June 18th at 1:00 p.m.
The change comes after a fourth employee with YCAT tested positive for the virus this week.
The transportation agency will not allow anyone on board a bus that does not have a face covering. It is also required that a mask is worn while at the customer service office on East 14th St.
The four employees who tested positive have been sent home and asked to self-quarantine. YCAT has notified all employees and anyone who may have come in contact with them.
Daily sanitation efforts on all busses, bus stations, and offices will continue but YCAT asks that you only use its services if absolutely necessary.
