As the Republican National Convention wraps up Thursday in Washington D.C., Former Arizona Republican Party Chairman Jonathan Lines says so far the convention has highlighted the stark differences between the Republican and Democratic parties.

"It's a lot easier to have faith in the future, specifically our country, based on what you hear in the Republican convention versus what you are hearing in the doomsayers of the DNC," said Lines.

The Yuma Republican also expects to see President Donald Trump return to Yuma following the convention. President Trump has visited Yuma three times in the past three years.

"I'd say that's pretty significant, more than any other President," said Lines. "He loves this region. He loves the successes that we're seeing."

Wednesday night, Republicans heard from Vice President Mike Pence, Presidential Counselor Kellyanne Conway, and the President's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump. The President is expected to officially accept his nomination for President for the Republican party Thursday night.
