7 State Prego Recall Includes Arizona

Campbell Soup Company

Three hundred cases of pasta sauce at risk of spoilage have been recalled in 7 states, including Arizona.

Campbell Soup Company reports it is voluntarily recalling 24-ounce jars of Prego Traditional Italian sauce in Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Quality control testing at the company’s Paris, Texas plant showed some jars of the sauce were at risk of spoilage, although the Campbell Soup Company reports no consumers have gotten sick.

The affected product was manufactured on December 15, 2013 and can be identified by the “Best By” date of June 16, 2015 and a four-digit code ranging from “CT BJ ZV 0330” through “0449.”
