An automotive techonology program at Arizona Western College has earned national accreditation, AWC officials announced.
The AWC program went under review by the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation.
Officials say the program has continued to meet the five-year national accreditation standards.
"The accreditation provides an excellent opportunity for students and the community, because it strengthens Arizona Western College's partnership with local industry," said Mike Murphy, a professor of auto technology. "Having ASE accreditiation is an added support that demonstrates students' employability during their l;ast semester of school and after graduation."
