New Jersey Votes To Increase Minimum Wage
New Jersey voted Tuesday to re-elect Gov. Chris Christie. Also on the ballot in the state was a proposal to increase the minimum wage to $8.25 an hour. Gov. Christie opposed the increase, but voters approved it by a wide margin.

At the end of its first day of public trading, shares of Twitter were valued at $44.90, reflecting a market value of more than $31 billion. The social media company sold 70 million shares of stock, raising $1.82 billion in the process.
