The Yuma County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Monday to consider a lease option with Solon Solar of Tucson for funding six solar covered parking panel sites for county facilities.
"Projections are a little high," said Tony Reyes, Yuma County Board of Supervisors Chairman, during the board meeting.
Those facilities include; the Main Library, Foothills Library, Development Services, Adult Probation, Public Works, and Juvenile Justice Center.
The board discussed several options for financing the project. One option considered was a 25 year lease at a 3.28 annual percentage rate.
