Arizona Schools To Reopen This Fall

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey announced schools throughout the state will resume in the classroom this fall. 

Gov. Ducey made the announcement Thursday with more details to come in the weeks to follow. However, Ducey issued an Executive Order that ensures the health of kids in school-based child care while allowing for increased child care capacity. 

During his press conference regarding the public health of Arizonans, he signed an additional Executive Order that increases the collaboration between hospitals statewide to ensure patient transfers can take place smoothly and efficiently. 

“Arizona continues to move forward with a calm and steady approach,” Ducey said. “We’re tracking the data, following the guidance of public health officials and planning ahead. We will continue to put health and safety first as we work to return stronger.”

Gov. Ducey also laid out new guidelines for orgnized youth acitivity.
