Students from Cibola High School's Advanced Placement art classes got the chance to tour the art scene in Los Angeles.
Marc Aurelius Sanchez, a Cibola graduate and current University of California, Los Angeles graduate student, gave the students a tour of the UCLA School of Art & Architecture, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Broad Art Museum.
During the Friday, Nov. 1, tour he also gave students a presentation about the school of animation.
Sanchez previously taught art at Yuma High School over the past several years.
"Cibola students were exposed to educational and cultural opportunities," CHS art teacher Holly Hendrick said.
