A group of elected officials in Yuma County have come out in support of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Fresh off the Democratic National Convention, a group of more than 30 of Arizona’s top Latino leaders have launched the Arizona Latino Leaders Council in support of former Vice President Joe Biden.
Council leaders say they will host events and focus on increasing Latino voter registration and education.
Yuma County’s representatives include State House Minority Leader Charlene Fernandez, Congressman Raúl Grijalva, former State Senator Amanda Aguirre, County Treasurer Angela Pancrazi and County Supervisors Martin Porchas and Tony Reyes.
Last week, a group of Latinos For Trump gathered in Somerton following his visit to Yuma.
