A Yuma woman has been elected as the treasurer of a statewide arts organization.

Officials with the Arizona Citizens for the Arts announced their Board of Directors elected Rose Ann Forte as treasurer. They say it’s the first time in recent years that a member from Yuma was elected.

Forte is a partner in a real estate investment firm in Yuma.

The Arizona Citizens for the Arts has also elected Stuart Graff, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, as its chairman.

Each director will serve a three-year term on the board.
