A water main break on Yuma’s Giss Parkway between 3rd and 4th Avenues has the area closed Tuesday afternoon (12/17/13). City of Yuma Utilities Crews are have drained the road and will be making repairs most of the day, possibly into the evening.
City of Yuma spokesperson, Dave Nash reports the road is closed in both directions and advises drivers to avoid the area.
UPDATE @ 1:40PM: West-bound lanes are now open, but east-bound traffic remains closed.
