Former Arizona state Representative Don Shooter is extremely ill and on life support.

Arizona’s Family news in Phoenix reports state Senate President Karen Fann confirmed the news this afternoon. No other details are available at this time.

Shooter, a Yuma Republican, has served as the chairman of the House Appropriations Committee.

He was expelled from the state House of Representatives on February 1, 2018 following allegations of sexual harassment by lawmakers, lobbyists and others.

Shooter denied the allegations in a July 2018 interview with KYMA. One month later, he launched a billboard campaign. One sign just outside of Yuma read “Make a Liberal’s Head Explode! Vote Shooter.”
