Yuma Walk to End Alzheimer's

Alzheimer's disease impacts around three million Americans every year, with Arizona as the state with the fastest growth rate of the disease in the country.

Come Saturday, Yuma residents will get the chance to take a stand against the disease and raise funds as well as awareness at the "Yuma Walk to End Alzheimer's."

The walk will be at West Wetlands Park. Check-in opens at 8:00 a.m. and the walk itself is expected to kick-off at 9:30 a.m.

You can signup by texting "alzwalk" to "51555" or just head to yumaalzheimerswalk.org

There are currently around 140,000 people over the age of 65 living with Alzheimer's in Arizona and all the funds raised go to Alzheimer's care, support and research.
