Visitor Restrictions Downgraded at Yuma Regional Medical Center

Yuma Regional Medical Center downgraded to the moderate visitation level Monday allowing most patients to have two-predesignated visitors older than 16 years of age during visitor hours.

It comes as the hospital sites a decline in COVID-19 hospitalizations.

Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Patients with COVID-19 can have one pre-designated visitor for one hour each day.

Moderate restrictions are in place for outpatient clinics as well. That allows for two people, or parents to accompany those at pediatric locations.

Masks are still required for those visiting any of YMRC’s locations and anyone exhibiting symptoms of illness is not permitted to enter.

Moderate restrictions are expected to stay in place with the arrival of flu season.

For those who cannot visit the hospital, YRMC is still providing patients with Cheer Cards. Those can be found here.
