Yuma Regional Medical Center Loosens Visitation Rules

With fewer COVID-19 patients, Yuma Regional Medical Center announced Thursday that it is easing its visitation restrictions from 'moderate' to 'minimal' levels.

The minimal tier allows two visitors per day for any patients hospitalized in YRMC's main bed tower which includes the intensive care unit.

Those hours of visitation are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Any patients at the hospital's outpatient clinics and facilities can bring one companion per visit.

The emergency department will allow one companion for any visiting duration for all hours.

Special expectations will be made for any surgeries.

At the Cancer Center patients can bring one companion.

There is only one companion allowed during all hours of the labor and delivery department.

Two parents or legal guardians are allowed at a time in the NICI and Pediatrics unit.
