Trump Campaign Says Latino Voters Key to Victory in Arizona

Hispanic voters in Arizona are critical to the re-election of Donald Trump.  So says the Director of Regional Communications for the Trump Campaign, Rick Gorka.

On July 25th in Phoenix the campaign, with the Arizona Republican Party, hosts a “Latinos for Trump and Trump Victory Leadership Initiative” training to mobilize volunteers to register voters and stump for Trump around the state.

Gorka tells KAWC’s Lou Gum that he thinks the President’s record, and message, will resonate with Latino voters across Arizona.

Lou grew up in Tucson and has a long family history in the state of Arizona. He began his public radio career in 1988 at KNAU in Flagstaff as a classical music DJ and has been hooked on public radio since, transitioning to news after trying his hand at several other careers in publishing and commercial broadcasting. Lou has a degree in American Studies from Arizona State University and was KAWC's Morning Edition host for two and half years before becoming News and Operations Director.
