La Paz County Announces First Two COVID-19 Cases

The first two cases of COVID-19 have been reported in La Paz County.

The La Paz County Health Department announced two separate indidiuals tested positive. They were tested due to exposure of other positive cases in other states.

Health Department officials said the cases are under investigation. The individuals are not hospitalized and are recovering at home. 

Health officials will interview close contacts and have asked the individuals to monitor themselves for symptoms and quarantine themselves for 14 days.

With the new confirmed cases, gyms and movie theaters in Parker and La Paz County must close.
