Daniel Chavez Jr. is a 17-year-old senior at Gila Ridge High School and one of Yuma’s rising boxing standouts. Training out of Yuma Fight Academy under Gary Diaz, Daniel holds a 28–7 amateur record and is a multi-time Arizona Golden Gloves and Silver Gloves champion. His most recent Silver Gloves Regional win earned him a spot at Nationals in Independence, Missouri later this month.
