The campaign to elect Joe Biden For President will make its first official stop in Yuma Friday.

Early voting began Wednesday in Arizona and the “First Week Voters for Biden-Harris" Bus Tour will be in Yuma.

In a text to local Biden supporters, campaign officials said the bus will cross the Ocean to Ocean Bridge at about 9 a.m. and stop briefly at Gateway Park before it continues to its official stop at 1455 West 16th Street at about 9:25 a.m.

Biden and Senator Kamala Harris were in Phoenix on Thursday but will not be in Yuma. The tour bus was in Flagstaff on Wednesday and supporters were able to pick up yard signs and other campaign materials.

The Biden campaign is playing catch up with in-person events as the Trump campaign has been active in Yuma for weeks.
