Arizona Western College To Move To Online Classes Through End of Spring Semester

Mar 17, 2020

Arizona Western College President Dr. Daniel Corr announced that the school will be moving to online education through the end of the spring semester.

Dr. Corr had previously announced that all classes would be cancelled Monday and Tuesday with a switch to online classes beginning Wednesday.

Corr told KAWC that Centers for Disease Control recommendations against groups of 10 people or more gathering for the next eight weeks made the change necessary.

“It has been evolving very quickly but we’ve been holding steadfast to two primary interests," Corr said. "That is, protecting the health and safety of students, faculty, staff and the community. And number two, getting our students across the finish line for this semester so that they can meet their educational goals.”
