Students from San Luis High School and Cibola High School won awards in multiple categories at the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Region 4 Conference recently at Wickenburg High School.
More than 500 students from 37 schools attended the competition on Jan. 25, which is hosted annually across Arizona’s four FBLA regions. Overall, students from Cibola and San Luis, medaled in six categories, including two teams from San Luis winning first place awards.
"I am very proud of our SLHS News team as they have worked very hard and work together as a team to come up with this big accomplishment,” SLHS Film and TV Production teacher Carlos Ambriz said. “This was our first time competing in video and broadcasting and it brings me great pleasure to see our students from San Luis accomplish great things."
