Yuma Catholic High School welcomed nearly 600 students for its first day of classes Wednesday, marking record enrollment as students and staff shared their excitement for the new school year.

Cibola and Kofa high school students began the school year online Tuesday after separate air-conditioning failures disrupted both campuses amid extreme heat.
