Daniel Hernandez

Daniel Hernandez met with Yuma City Councilwoman Karen Watts, who is also a family nurse practitioner, on Tuesday. Both say cuts to Medicare in the so-called "Big Beautiful Bill" would hurt patients in Yuma County and across Arizona.

Hernandez is Democrat running in CD-7, which includes parts of Yuma County.

CD7 stretches from Douglas through Nogales up to Tucson into parts of Pinal and Maricopa counties and west to Yuma. No questions were asked about Yuma County.

Hernandez is one of 11 candidates and one of five Democrats running in district that stretches from Tucson west to south Yuma County.
