A Republican lawmaker wants to provide financial help to women who choose to give birth, saying it could provide enough incentive to deter them from having an abortion.

On Tuesday, Sept. 23, Arizona Western College’s president Dr. Daniel Corr hosted a town hall with Yuma County’s elected officials from legislative districts 23 and 25.The KAWC student newsroom partnered with Siendo Primero hosts and producers, Saghey Barcenas and Evelyn Garcia, for the event to interview state representatives.
