Anne Marie Ward For Congress

Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar was re-elected to Congress in the 2018 election.  He beat his general election opponent by more than 35%. 

He did not face a primary opponent in the 2018 race.  So far, no Democrat has announced a run in the district.  Democrat David Brill lost to Gosar in the general election in 2018.

You’d think that means he is incredibly popular in Arizona’s 4th Congressional District and a lock for re-election in 2020.

The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground is a source of pride for people who live in southwestern Arizona.  It’s main mission – support the U.S. military (and sometimes military from other nations) by making sure the equipment it uses, everything from clothing to flashlights, vehicles and weapons, are effective and safe to use. But that is far from all that happens at the busy facility.

One of the most closely watched races in the upcoming election season is the Senate race in Arizona. 

Martha McSally was appointed to the seat of the late John McCain in 2018 and just two years later she’ll have to win a Senate race for the first time to keep the seat.

Polling shows her possible general election opponent, Democratic Mark Kelly, the former astronaut, navy pilot, and political activist with a slight lead over McSally.
